looks like nobody reads this, but what the hell.Anyway, two thousand words written last night. Some of it's middling, but some of it I'm very pleased with indeed.

When I said I had lots of thoughts about funerals, I meant a specific set of funereal rites for one of my fantasy races.
Not my own.
Just so we're clear.
Does anybody actually read this thing apart from me? I started it as my own personal journal, but apparently it's been viewed nearly 300 times. Maybe it's just web crawlers.

( 2.8 / 61 )My brother Joe got a job on Holy Island (Lindisfarne for the heathen in the audience.) Weird. If you looked at the two of us and had to guess who would go for the city corporate media job and who would go for the quiet reflective job you'd...well, you'd almost certainly guess wrong. This is the way life goes. It's never what you expect.
For example, nobody would ever expect that two of my family would be employable. Who knew?
