Hello, pointless blog. I haven't updated you in a while, have I?Novel update: I've been working on the super absolutely definitely final draft, and have nearly finished Act 1. (Of 4). Weighs in at a sprightly 17769 words at the moment, which is about right.
In the time since I last posted, I've changed jobs, moved house three times, and quit smoking.
Things now on the big self-improvement list:
Finish novel
Get on diet
Manage money better
Pass driving test

( 2.9 / 40 )I'm thinking of deleting most of the writing section again. Most of it's garbage, and it's garbage I don't really want to be associated with any more. It seems odd, but writing a novel really forces one to refine one's style. I suppose if you practice anything for an hour everyday, your efforts from years ago embarrass you.
Bike repair girl still has a place, as do N.B and Rocks. Stairwells can get to buggery. I read stairwells now and all I can think is "Cheer up, emo kid!"
